Sydney is a marine biologist with experience working in small-island communities to research topics in ocean and fisheries management including animal behavior, invasive species, marine debris, and community-based conservation methods. She enjoys communicating science with the goal of spreading awareness and encouraging action to protect marine species and habitats. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the beaches of sunny San Diego, gardening, and doing yoga.
